Vegetarianism

Being vegetarian in Dublin is not difficult, and even very nice. There are plenty of restaurants, and the shops are laden with produce flown in from all over the globe (we only grow a little ourselves). On the spice trail there are several well-stocked Asia markets. Spices aid digestion and help create wonderful exotic flavours. And if you can't cook then come away for a weekend retreat where we'll show you what to do.

A vegetarian is someone who doesn't eat meat. Being vegetarian is good for ones health, ones spiritual welfare and general well-being, society in general, the ecology of planet earth and, of course, the animals themselves very much appreciate not being eaten.

'Animals are my friends...and I don't eat my friends'

George Bernard Shaw
